Ashé Cultural Arts Center upholds its mission to use art and culture to support human, community, and economic development by celebrating the people, places, and philosophies of the African Diaspora throughout the year.
Ashé has thrived at the intersection of Community, Culture and Commerce for the last 27 years and with your support this Give NOLA Day you have the opportunity to support:
Programming and direct services including our I Deserve It! Wellness program, Kuumba Youth Academy and Alliance for Cultural Equity cohort of 15 arts organizations which are designed to utilize culture in fostering equitable practices, human development, civic engagement, and economic empowerment
Gallery and performance space that creates and preserves opportunities for the curation, exhibition and commission of fine, folk, and fine-folk art
Advocacy for artists and culture bearers, community power, anti-displacement and art institutions in the community
