We’re excited to invite you to register shining star(s) for the Kuumba Academy 2025 Summer Program—a vibrant, enriching experience rooted in the African diaspora designed for children ages 5–14!
The Kuumba Academy 2025 Summer Program celebrates creativity, culture, and community each day, engaging kids in art, music, and dance led by talented local professional artists and field trips—helping them explore their heritage and express themselves in meaningful ways
Summer Program Dates: June 9 – July 25
Days/| Time: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Location: Ashe Cultural Arts Center
What to Expect:
Daily art, music & dance led by local professional artists
Fun and educational field trips that deepen cultural awareness
Nutritious breakfast and hot lunch provided each day
A safe, joyful space for growth, learning, and community connection

The KUUMBA ACADEMY is Ashé Cultural Arts Center’s youth program initiative.
For over a decade, the Academy has continued its commitment to doing as much as we can in order to leave our communities more beautiful and beneficial than when we inherited them by using cultural arts as a vehicle and foundation for youth development.
