Kuumba Workshop: Music & Dance

Join us for an engaging afternoon of music, movement, and culture at the Kuumba Workshop: Music and Dance! Designed for youth ages 5–15, this interactive experience introduces participants to the rhythms of brass music and the energy of African dance, led by talented local professional artists. Students will explore musical expression, coordination, and cultural traditions in a supportive, creative environment.

What to Know

• Brass instruments will be provided, but participants may bring their own instruments if they have them.

• For health and comfort, students who play brass or wind instruments are encouraged to bring their own mouthpieces.

• Donations are welcome!
