The FAVORITE FATHERS AWARDS recognizes fathers as the part of the foundation to strong families and communities, and spotlights men across the city of New Orleans that model positive fatherhood behaviors that assist families and communities to enjoy the safety and security of their existence.

For the past decade Ashé Cultural Arts Center has honored men who make a difference in the lives of women, children, families, and communities in the Greater New Orleans area.
The Favorite Father Community Health Fair provides free health screenings, body work, massage, Reiki, acupuncture, etc. and showcases all the extraordinary men making vital contributions to the community.
