2022 NCA MLK Exhibition Closing Exhibition Program

National Conference of Artists

2022 Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Art Exhibition

April 1, 2022, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Ashé Cultural Arts Center, Powerhouse Gallery

1731 Baronne Street, New Orleans, Louisiana

The mission of the National Conference of Artists, Inc. (NCA), founded in 1959, is to preserve, promote, and develop African American culture and the creative forces of artists that emanate from the African World experience.  The National Conference of Artists New Orleans Chapter, the charter granted in 1991, conforms to the parent organization's mission, guidelines, and goals (the NCA).

The purpose of the NCA MLK exhibition is to celebrate the life and legacy of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the Civil Rights Movement, and those working to further peace and human understanding.  And through the arts, we give recognition to the people around the world who work tirelessly to fight for peace and justice, which foster human understanding through those who work toward responsible environmental cohabitation.
