The Ashé Rooftop Festival takes place Saturday, October 17, 2026 from 12pm-8pm at the Ashé Cultural Arts Center & along the historic Oretha Castle Haley Blvd in New Orleans.

Not this year! We’re reimagining Rooftop & bringing it home to the Boulevard. Rooftop is Ashé’s signature bi-annual celebration of culture, community, music, art, and joy. This year’s experience brings that same Rooftop sprit to the streets & spaces surrounding Ashé Cultural Arts Center.

Rooftop Festival welcomes the WHOLE family. Children 12 & under are FREE, and teens ages 13-17 are $10. General Admission for adults is $40.

Festival tickets are $40 for General Admission and $150 per person for VIP. Teens ages 13-17 are $10, and children 12 & under are FREE.

Sorry boo! Unfortunately, no. The Rooftop Gala is on Friday, October 16 and the Rooftop Festival on Saturday, October 17 are separate ticketed experiences.
Now if you bought a table at the Gala, yes it does include your General Admission Festival ticket!

Yes. The Ashé Rooftop Festival is a cashless event (with the exception of some bar purchases).

This year's Rooftop Gala features performances from Mikecol & Orchestra Noir.
This year’s Rooftop Festival features Marsha Ambrosius of Floetry, Orchestra Noir, La Reezy, Kelly Love Jones, DJ Jahi of Public Enemy, ANTWIGADEE!, Pro$per Jone$, Flagboy Giz, Sess 4-5, Leaux Fye Tribe, Topaz Tears, GameOva Skip and many more local and national artists and special guests.

Most definitely!
Food and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the Festival from participating vendors. Alcoholic beverages will also be available for guests 21+ with a valid government-issued photo ID.

Leave the food and drinks at home, but definitely bring your chair!
Outside food and beverages are not permitted, but we'll have food and beverage vendors throughout the Festival with plenty to enjoy.
As for seating, treat Rooftop like your favorite New Orleans festival, grab your festival chair, find your spot, and enjoy the day!
Comfortable, portable festival chairs are welcome.

Professional photography, videography and media equipment may require advance approval or media credentials.

Come comfortable, come fly and come ready to celebrate! Rooftop Festival is an outdoor experience, so dress for the New Orleans weather and wear comfortable shoes.
Culture is always welcome.

Nope!
All ticket sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

Wellllll…we kind of want you to stay all day with us. We’re family, right?
But if you need to step out, you may re-enter the Festival. Just keep your wristband on! Your wristband will be required for re-entry, so please don’t remove it until you’re officially done Rooftop-ing with us for the day.

For the safety and enjoyment of everyone at Rooftop, please leave the following items at ya house:
Outside food or beverages
Weapons of any kind
Large umbrellas
Glass containers
Drones
Illegal drugs
Fireworks
Professional camera/video equipment without approved media credentials
Laser pointers
And remember…..your festival chair IS welcome! Bring it, get comfortable, and enjoy Rooftop with us all day.
